:: Goodtime John Release
We are delighted to be adding the Goodtime John album ' I'll Sing Till The Sun Turns Cold' to our online store. It will be in all good record shops and released as a mail order CD and digital download from www.trustmeimathief.com next Tuesday the 12th of April. There will be a full media pack put up on the site with all the usual samplers, downloads, photos etc.
:: Redneck Manifesto Vinyl Set Released
The eagerly awaited Redneck Manifesto triple album vinyl set has finally been released. The triple LP set contains their three full length CD albums, 'Thirtysixstrings', 'Cut your Heart Off From Your Head' & 'I am Brazi'l on 180gr vinyl in a handscreened cover with three full-size colour inserts. It is being distributed in Ireland through Trust Me I'm A Thief, and though Modern City Records & RedF Records in France, see www.redfrecords.com. We have a limited number of these available on our online store, we expect demand for these to be considerable. There is also a limited number available in Road Records, Dublin.
:: Jape Gigs
Jape will be playing this Friday in Roisin Dubh, Galway. Also on the bill are Stanley Super 800 & The Mighty Stef. Admission for this is 10euro / 12.50euro. Jape will be presented on the night with the 'Roisin Dubh Album Of The Year' for his 2004 recording 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me'. See www.roisindubh.net,. Jape will also be supporting electronic duo Halfset, featuring producer and engineer, Stephen Shannon and Jeff Martin, in The Sugar Club, Dublin on Friday the 15th of April. He will also be supporting Beastie Boys collaborator Money Mark in Crawdaddy on Sunday April 24th.
:: Rednecks Confirmed For Electric Picnic
The Redneck Manifesto have been confirmed to play at this years Electric Picnic Festival.
:: Jape / Rednecks @ Trinity Ball
Both Jape & The Redneck Manifesto will be playing at this years Trinity Ball. This years event takes place on Friday the 13th of May. Hopefully that's not a bad omen!
:: Competition Winners
The winners of 'The Venue' competition were Aine Woods, Nick Reuland, Paula Togher, Darren Sullivan, & David McNabb. The winner of the monthly competition for a signed copy of The Redneck Manifesto album is Paul Finnegan.
:: New Competitions
There are currently two new competitions on the site. One is for a signed copy of The Redneck Manifesto vinyl set, the other is for a signed copy of the Jape album 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me'. Both competitions are on the gallery section of the website.
:: Goodtime John - Free MP3 Download
In preparation to the addition of The Goodtime John album 'I'll Sing Till The Sun Turns Cold' to our online store, we have put up a free Mp3 track from the album for you to download as a sampler. It is on the sounds section of the gallery page.
:: Change to Digital Downloads On The Store
We have decided to remove the low bitrate Mp3 files from our online store. We are now offering 3 different types of download per release, High Bitrate Mp3, Windows Media, & OGG.
