TRUST ME I'M A THIEF NEWSLETTER ISSUE 003

:: Christmas Day Release
Welcome  to the 3rd edition of The Trust Me I'm A Thief Newsletter.
Christmas is finally upon us again, and to commemorate this
opportunity for excess and indulgence we have decided to release
a Christmas single, well not actually a 'Christmas Single' as such, but a
single - which we are releasing on Christmas Day! We believe it to be
the first recording ever to be released on Christmas Day. If anyone has
any information to the contrary we would love to hear from you, before we
rush out and contact the Guinness book of records after the hangovers
have settled! The single will feature two tracks, one from Beautiful Unit
and one from Schroedersound. Beautiful Unit is the solo project of ex
Idiots front man Brian Mooney. Schrodersound is the brainchild of Simon
Kenny, ex Schroeders Cat. The single will be available exclusively from
our online store in three different digital download formats - MP3,
Windows Media & OGG - for the price of €1.75. Cover artwork will be
available to download from our gallery section. The single will be
available to download at 2:00pm on Christmas Day.

:: Jape Album Featured In Hotpress Albums Of The Year
The Jape album 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me'
made it into the Hotpress Albums of the year at number 28. The full list
is included in the Hotpress Annual which is in the shops now.

:: Schroedersound Gigs With Damo Suzuki (ex Can)
Schroedersound will be playing supporting Damo Suzuki on an Irish tour
in March. We will keep you posted on the Forum and on the News section
when the dates have been confirmed. Schroedersound also play 25
January, The Globe, Dublin  with Boxes, visuals by Pixelcorps, DJ sets by
Rob Fox and Hair France. 8pm. Free

:: Website Additions
We have added two new free MP3 downloads to the sounds section of
our gallery. The tracks are 'Haunt Me' by Jape ( taken from the
Cosmosphere album on the Volta Sounds label ) & 'Trust Me I'm A Thief'
by Beautiful Unit. Since our last Newsletter we have also added a high
quality video download of The Redneck Manifesto performing 'Paint
Your Dicbloc Pink', recorded live in Crawdaddy in November. Also
added to the Radio Thief FM(p3) player are two tracks by Cork Band
Stanley Super 800.

:: Competition To Win Recording Time In Asylum Studios
As mentioned on our news page earlier this month Asylum Studios & TMIAT
have teamed up to provide an exciting competition aimed at Bands / Artists
who want to get some quality recording under their belts. The prize will be a
days recording in Asylum Studios, where the likes of Jape, The Radio, Jesse
& Layla, Schroedersound, to name just a few, have all recorded material that
has been released -including the Jape album 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have
More Fun Than Me'. And the major bonus with this competition is that the
winner(s) will not only get to use the studio for the day, but their recording will
be produced by James Eadie (responsible for the production on The Jape
album) & Liam Mulvaney (responsible for production on The Radio album).
The competition will be on our Gallery section on New Years eve. So all you
music makers out there, don't forget to check back again on New Years Eve
and enter. The competition will run for a month.

:: New Years Eve Gig
Final reminder of the New Years Eve gig in The Village, Dublin. The Redneck
Manifesto return to The Village on New Year's Eve for what promises to be the
best way of disposing of 2004 and celebrating 2005. Joined by Jape, The
Chalets and DJ's for the night David Kitt, Poppy, John and Aoife Dermody and
Fionn Davenport, The Redneck Manifeto's New Year's Eve Party is going to be
one hell of a night. Tickets available from the WaV Ticketbox, Camden Row.
