:: Goodtime John EP Launch
This week sees Goodtime John release his much anticipated 5 track EP 'Ol Death Whisper'
on Trust Me I'm A Thief. There is a launch for the EP in Road Records,Fade Street, Dublin on Thursday night at 7:00. Admission is Free. The album will be available in stores listed on the store section of the site from Thursday. It will also be available from our own online store from Saturday as a mail order CD and a Digital Download.
:: Somadrone Album Launch
Somadrone will be releasing their first full lenght album, a double album actually,
on Trust Me I'm A Thief on Friday the 21st of October. The entitled 'Fuzzing
Away To A Whisper' will be available in the same manner as the Goodtime John
EP. There will be a launch gig upstairs in The Project Arts Centre on Saturday
22nd of October. Support will be provided by Schroedersound & The New Heat
/ Obscured By Light (Sweden). Tickets are available from the Project at €12:50.
Doors are 8:00pm. Thats two new releases - both with the word whisper in
them. Get out and shout about it.............
:: Two New Free Downloads
As a blatant attempt to make it look like we are nice, we have added two new
free downloads to the sounds section of the gallery. These free downloads are
a track each from the above new releases, which we are in fact shamelessly
plugging by giving you a sample in an attempt to entice you to buy the full
release. We encourage you not to download it, as we make more money on the
sale of CD's.
:: Goodtime & Schroedersound @ Popkomm In Berlin
Both Goodtime John & Schroedersound played as part of the Popkomm festival
in Berlin last week. Unsurprisingly, both were brilliant. We would like to say
thanks to Keith Johnson (IMRO) and to Hilary Kavanagh (Berlin Promoter) for all
their help, assistance, and encouragement. A Goodtime John was had by all. We
hope that they will be able to return at some stage and build on this first trip.

purposes. We will be uploading some video taken of both acts while we were in

:: Jape Gig In The Lower Deck
Jape plays this Friday, 30th September at The Ballroom Of Romance series of
Gigs in The Lower Deck, Rathmines. Also on the bill are Groom, The Shells, &
Kopanda. Admission is 7:00Euro. Doors 9:00pm

:: Somadrone & Schroedersound @ DEAF Festival
The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival are running a DEAF@Filmbase event this
year and will present some of the worlds leading pioneers in the electronic arts
in Filmbase [Formerly Arthouse], Curved Steet, Temple Bar, Dublin. Two TMIAT
acts, Somadrone & Schroedersound will be appearing at this event. The gig
takes place on Sat. October 29th from 5:00pm - 11:30pm.

Visionary Awards' in Dublin. So if you have enjoyed the music, the news,

:: Competition Winners & New Competitions
The winner of our competiton for a Redneck Manifesto vinyl set is Peter
Henry. The winner of the signed Jape CD is George Webster. There are two new
competitions on the gallery section.
:: Redneck Manifesto 'Electric Picnic' Review In Hotpress
For anyone who missed it, you can read about it. The current edition of
Hotpress has a review of The Redneck Manifesto gig at this years Electric
Picnic festival. Grand stuff it is too.
:: Schroedersound Name Change
Schroedersound are becoming Si-Schroeder. In a name change way that is.
Thanks again to everyone who has downloaded stuff from the site, posted
on the forum, gone to the gigs etc. etc. Both new upcoming releases will
have full media packs where you can download free tracks, video, pics,
interview, press release etc.
